The Camino de Santiago
is an ancient pilgrimage to the tomb of St. James in the city of Santiago de Compostela in north-western Spain.  The Camino is a network of routes through France, Spain and Portugal all leading to the jewel in the crown the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.

Most Popular Routes

The Camino Francés is the most popular route by far with 63% of all pilgrims choosing this way.
Then we have the Camino Portugues wtih 19%
And 6% choose the Camino del Norte

You’ll qualify for your Compostela (pilgrim certificate) if you walk the last 100kms in to Santiago de Compostela or travel 150kms by horse-back or cycle 200kms.
