We will follow the historical Liam Lynch Loop, a 12km walk with a 358-metre ascent. This walk picks up the St. Declan’s Way pilgrim path for the first 4km as far as the impressive Liam Lynch Monument, whose death nearby heralded the end of the Irish Civil War. You’ll also enjoy stunning views of the Galty Vee Valley which is surrounded by the Galtee, Slievenamon, Comeragh and Knockmealdown mountains.
