Connecting Geneva with Le Puy-en-Velay, St Jacob’s Way is a newer route that travels through forests and country-sides. After passing the Rhone River, you will climb Mont Tournier. The portion of St Jacob's Way winds through the forest before descending to the final stop of St Genix-sut-Guiers.
Enjoy a relatively easy going walk through rolling green French countryside along crop fields and fields of grazing cows on the second section of St Jacob’s Way. This walking holiday is filled with plenty of opportunities to relax and soak in the wonderful surroundings, exquisite cuisine and culture.
The final section of St Jacob’s Way features the mountains of Pilat, with leisurely strolls through the French countryside. This portion of St Jacob’s Way will end in Le Puy en Velay, a beautiful and historic town, where the local cuisine and wines can be actively experienced after a full day's walk.
