Camino Talks with Daniel from ReBalance Physiotherapy

Written by Caitlin

The Camino de Santiago is an amazing journey and a wonderful physical challenge. We talked to Daniel from ReBalance Physiotherapy about how to get ready for the Camino and set yourself up for success. He gave us a number of awesome tips about things to look out for when you are walking, and how to keep yourself healthy while on the Camino.

When you are increasing the amount of exercise you do it is important to pay attention to your body. Make sure that you follow a Camino Training Plan that will help you to get ready. Adding in strength and stability training will help keep you injury free along your journey.

Daniel explains the importance of warming up, cooling down, and stretching as well, to keep your muscles healthy.

If you do find that you have any aches and pains, make an appointment with a physiotherapist sooner rather than later so they can help you get back on track. If you are in Dublin, check out ReBalance Physiotherapy in Dublin 2. They are excellent and will be happy to help.

If you have any questions about other aspects of getting ready for the Camino de Santiago, contact us and we will help you out.
