Every booking made with us before December 31st 2021 can be changed for free, up to 10 days before the start of your Camino*.

So you don’t have to! Our team includes the fantastic service providers we use all across Spain. We talk to them regularly, to make sure we know what is happening on the Camino as it happens. This means we will know if anything changes and can optimise and pivot your Camino to ensure you have the best possible experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
- If I change my dates will there be any fees?
No, there are no change fees when you move your trip to a different date due to COVID-19 related restrictions. You can move your trip for free up to 10 days before your planned departure.
- Can I keep any discounts if I change my booking dates?
Yes, any discounts that had been applied to your original booking will be transferred and applied to your new booking. This includes Early Bird discounts and Returning Customer discounts.
- If I need to postpone my booking but I dont know my new dates what happens?
We can put your booking on pause so you can confirm your new travel dates at any time in the next year. There is no pressure to confirm your new dates immediately.
- If I can no longer travel, can I transfer credit or deposit to someone else?
Absolutely, we are happy to transfer travel credit to someone else. The travel credit can be used towards any trip with Follow the Camino or our sister company, One Foot Abroad.
- What happens if I need to shorten my trip?
We can extend or shorten any trip for you. If your new trip is less than your original amount, you can keep the remainder as travel credit for another trip in the future. Or, you may add on extras like meals, massages, food and wine tours, and much more. Travel credit can be used across multiple guests or bookings, so you can bring family or friends with you on your next trip.
- What if the new booking costs a different amount to the original booking?
If the cost of your new trip/date is different, a balance or refund will be due. You can use your travel credit for another trip in the future. Or, you may add on extras like meals, massages, food and wine tours, and much more. Travel credit can be used across multiple guests or bookings, so you can bring family or friends with you on your next trip.

The travel situation is still fluid so please make sure that you are aware of all entry and departure requirements for the countries you are visiting and your home country. Check for any planned changes to restrictions and double-check the day before, and the day of your travel.
There are a number of resources online that can help you to confirm that you are able to travel. You can also contact your local embassy for the country that you are travelling to for more information.
We highly recommend that you take out travel insurance – some of which does now include COVID-19 cover.
As we have no control over your flights, we can offer advice but we are unable to guarantee what the situation will be on the date of travel with the varying travel restrictions impacting our clients.
