An initiative by Follow the Camino to promote sustainability and the consumption of local products along the Camino de Santiago.
Through this campaign, we encourage restaurants and hotels on the Camino routes to offer vegetarian and vegan meal options.
Since 2006, we have been crafting and curating Camino journeys, ensuring our clients experience the best of what the Camino de Santiago has to offer. One area that continues to be a challenge for many of our clients is the lack of vegetarian options along the route.
To support this effort, we have created a series of videos featuring recipes prepared by a local chef, highlighting fresh ingredients and traditional culinary techniques.
Our aim is for the hotels and restaurants we work with to adopt these recipes and include them as part of their menus, offering better dining options for all pilgrims.
