Follow the Camino has achieved Business All-Star 2026 Accreditation from the All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF), as the Irish travel company celebrates 20 years in business.
Founded in 2006, Follow the Camino was created to make the Camino de Santiago easier for people to experience without taking away the independence and adventure at the heart of the journey.
Twenty years later, the company organises personalised walking and cycling holidays across Camino routes in Spain, Portugal and France, helping travellers plan everything from short sections to complete pilgrimages.
Its team manages the practical side of each journey, including accommodation, luggage transfers and route planning, while allowing customers to travel at their own pace. Follow the Camino also provides ongoing support throughout the trip and has developed its own app to give travellers easy access to their plans and journey information.
The company has also made responsible tourism a central part of how it operates. Follow the Camino is a certified B Corp, measures its operational carbon footprint annually and works with locally owned accommodation providers and other independent businesses along the routes it serves.
Its 20th anniversary provides a significant backdrop to its first Business All-Star accreditation, recognising a company that has continued to evolve while remaining focused on creating meaningful, personal Camino experiences.
