2018 Charity Partner: Purple House Cancer Support

Follow the Camino was delighted to present the team at Purple House Cancer Support an amazing €1,170.30 raised from all of our events in 2018.

Last year, we at Follow the Camino held dozens of events, aimed at helping our clients on their way on the Camino de Santiago. From weekend training days to information evenings, we raised an incredible amount of money for a fantastic cause.

For nearly three decades, Purple House Cancer Support, based in North Wicklow/South Dublin, have been providing invaluable support and assistance to families affected by cancer. Since 1990, they have provided a range of support services, such as counselling, support groups, survivorship programmes, transport to and from hospital appointments and more.

Purple House is funded almost entirely by charity donations, so every little amount helps. Thank you to each and every one of you who attended our events in 2018.

Keep an eye on our events page for all upcoming events, the proceeds of which will be donated to our charity partner 2019 charity partner, which is yet to be decided.
